When I strap my Max Twelve around my wrist, I observe it's originality and feel my individuality every time. It is a watch that does not come from the traditional watch industry, but from the classic machine industry. This makes it completely independent and open to new possibilities. The first watch
with a lasered and
andoxidized TITAN dial
The TITAN dial is oxidized (anodized) in a water bath by applying a voltage. The color of the dial is determined by the thickness of the oxide layer. MaXII has optimized this process to the highest level and uses a technology from the technical medical field.
MaXII is pioneer in the application of this technology to watches.
The first watch from the Zurich machine industry
Manufactured in the canton of Zurich using high-precision CNC machines. The bezel and case back are turned from a round steel bar, while the case is milled from a solid block.
TITAN dial (ZH)
TITAN dial laser-cut in the Zurich countryside. The desired color is achieved at the in-house laboratory by oxidation in a water bath. 100% UV-resistant.
Swiss Engineering (ZH)
Three-part sandwich construction, held together by six Torx screws. Monobloc case: Movement and dial mount milled directly into the case. No use of a plastic retaining ring! Over 4.5mm case wall thickness.
Assembly (ZH)
Assembled with love in-house in Zurich. Ground and polished by hand. Manual work leaves an individual fingerprint on every watch.

A Design With Angles and Edges
Four facets run elegantly with a descending angle from the bezel towards the bracelet.
12-Edge Bezel
The surfaces of the milled 12-facets are left in their original state and feature the typical milling pattern. The CNC turning grooves are visible on the side wall of the bezel. The DNA from mechanical engineering is clearly visible.
6 Torx Screws
Custom-fit Torx screws round off the industrial look.These are slightly embedded into the bezel to protect the screw surface.
A higher stainless steel concentration compared to the standard 316L increased scratch resistance. Contains copper that create a warm shine. Only used by a few high-end brands.
Finishing
A unique play of light and reflexions is created on the hand polished, milled and turned surfaces. This results in higher manufacturing costs, but sets it apart from low-priced watches that have uniform surfaces.
Dials
Titanium dials can change color depending on the viewing angle, from matte to a magnetizing shine. There is no comparison with how dials are traditionally colored! Available in different colors.

The watch presents a protected design and thus guarantees exclusivity.

A Unique Piece from the Machine Industry
Contrary to industrial mass production, a MaXII is not die-cut and is not pressed into its final shape via cold forming. The dial is also not die-cut and not pad-printed.
The production process of a MaXII is made-to-order from start to finish. The case is CNC milled and turned from solid steel, the dial is laser cut. All parts are ground and polished by hand. The final assembly is done in-house.
The case of each MaXII is milled and turned from high-end 904L steel.
CNC milling and turning is used in the mechanical engineering industry primarily for small and medium batch sizes. CNC stands for "Computer Numerical Control" of milling and turning machines. It enables fast and customized production. No molds are required. The upper ring (bezel) and the case back are CNC-turned. You can see the circular milling grooves of the cutting blade. The main part of the watch is CNC machined. The typical milling pattern can be seen on the underside around the case back and on the watch bezel.
The dial is laser-cut from a titanium disk.
Indipendent Swiss Engineering
In March 2020, I came up with the idea for a design with the four dominant facets that run from the bezel towards the strap. A design full of character that offers a recognizable feature and which I wanted to bring to life.
After more than two years of intensive development, I am now proud to present the first Series 1. From the first prototypes made of plastic, to the 0 series, of which there are only 10 pieces, to the final Series-1.
The MaXII is exceptional. The shine, the geometry, the magical glow of the dials never cease to amaze.
